2011 Web Browser Roundup

Web browsers, everyone uses one, if your viewing this page right now you’re using a web browser of some kind. There are A LOT of browsers available which most people wouldn’t know about. Many people would just use the browser that comes with their system (internet explorer), and don’t realise that there are other options available which could be used to improve their user experience. But which browser would give you the best online experience?
We at TurnedOn have decided to find out exactly that, ‘which web browser is the best?’ Unfortunately, due to the sheer volume of web browsers online, we have decided to only test the most popular browsers and a couple others.
So who’re we testing today?
• Firefox 3.6
• Firefox 4.0
• Internet Explorer 9
• Google Chrome 10.0
• Safari 5.0.4
• Opera 11.01
• Seamonkey 2.0
• Maxthon 3.21
• And RockMelt 0.9.48
Now we’ve met the contestants, let’s see the field they’re playing on;
The test system;

This is the system all the browsers were benchmarked on, it was kept the same through each test to deliver fair and comparable results.
On Page 3, under "Social Networking". that should say "without leaving the page YOU'RE on", not your.
Omg thanks i'm now in love with RockMelt its sooo Awesome!!!
I used to use Firefox, got fed up and switched to Chrome. It's faster, but hasn't been much more stable than FF. The lack of configurability and options is a bit annoying, too (though I realize they did that to streamline it).
Stability is something most browser reviews pay little attention to, yet is very important. If I see the words "Aw Snap!" appear on my browser screen one more time, I'm going to snap, and then snap something (or someone)!
If Chrome is really the best we got, then we haven't got anything. I may try RockMelt for a while. Hopefully they got rid of the stupid "Aw Snap" stuff at least.
